Discipleship

"The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers. A sense of awe came over everyone. God performed many wonders and signs through the apostles." -Acts 2:42-43
Developing community with one another is also an important way in which we live out our relationship with Christ. Just as the early church met together regularly to study the teaching of the apostles, so too do we believe it is important to be plugged into discipleship. We have several discipleship opportunities at Concord.

Concord Grapettes

While this is not an official UMC organization these ladies are a vital part of the Concord church community. They are a group of Pink and Red Hat Society ladies who are always having fun. There are no meetings but they usually have an outing every month and all women are invited to participate. No rules, just show up for the scheduled event. Their mission is to show others that living a Christian life can be fun. Contact Wanda Cook at 501-676-6829 or email her at concordgrapettes@hughes.net.
